Delete Your Tagpuan Account

Option 1: Delete in the Tagpuan app

1. Open Tagpuan and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deactivated right away and deleted within 30 days.

Option 2: Request deletion without the app

You don't need to reinstall the app. Send an email to info@rooje.io with the subject "Account Deletion Request", sent from the email address on your Tagpuan account (or include your username). We'll confirm by email and complete the deletion within 30 days.

If you signed in with Facebook, Apple or Google

Use either option above to delete your Tagpuan data. You can also remove Tagpuan's access in that service's settings (for Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites), but removing access alone does not delete your Tagpuan account, so please also send a request.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, username, email, photo and bio
• Your posts, questions, answers, comments and messages
• Meetups and events you created, and your RSVPs
• Location and device information linked to your account

What may be kept, and for how long

• Records needed to comply with the law, resolve disputes or prevent fraud and abuse, such as records of accounts banned for safety violations, kept only as long as required.
• Encrypted backups, which are overwritten within 90 days.
• Anonymized statistics that cannot identify you.

If you have an active subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it in your store account settings first, because deleting your account does not cancel store billing.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can delete individual posts, comments and messages in the app at any time, or email info@rooje.io with the subject "Data Deletion Request" to ask us to delete specific data.
